where the fuck do I start? I dont have any thoughts on how to go about this other then get textbook recs, or the classic "ask a question, answer it, repeat"

blogs used to be pretty helpful but not many of em anymore (except for derek lowe he remains indispensable)
wiki walks can be useful

twitter is super helpful for learning more if you already know a lot because there are a lot of actual experts shooting the shit nonstop
maybe trickier for starting from scratch
