any of y'all who do a lot of therapy-type stuff or meditation-type stuff find that you've become more sensitive to alcohol (in a bad way)? other foods too maybe?

alcohol started giving me significant nervous system issues and panic attacks, then had to give up caffeine (anxiety), then gluten (anxiety and depression), then sugar (anxiety and depression); all while improving my diet, taking supplements, getting exercise

what kind of practices were you doing leading up to this?

my pinned thread of threads has a full history of my practice, but most immediately preceding the sensitivity issues was Acem (non-directive, TM-like), but I also started using Sam Harris' app (Vipassana with a splash of dzogchen I guess?) and practicing Mettā while unraveling
