On the one hand I don't want to make big claims about my capabilities. On the other hand I helped someone learn how to walk again through my bootleg therapy. So I don't fucking know.

one of the 3 examples i'm talking about here is a video of richard schwartz doing IFS to a woman and resolving chronic back pain that she'd had ever since a car accident years prior or something like that. so i def believe things like this are possible

the therapy example in particular - i've seen 3 different examples now of people who pioneered a therapy technique using that technique on other people live and they do something special that people who didn't pioneer the therapy don't do. sort of a kind of hypnotism

i wish I could better explain and teach this level of capability, but the best I can do is transmit a low detail copy of my model. I can't even point to what my secret sauce is other than time and attention combine into something special.

Like what the hell am I doing that I pull off this stuff when all I do is cry in my bed and apply what I learned, while someone could spend years with university and certifications and workshops then end up as a mediocre therapist.

Found this is interview with Dick about chronic pain and IFS. CW: This may cause strong rejections if you're suffering from pain and not in a position to calmly to these kind of claims. In that case, ignore and work just on psychological parts first.
