I'm always messing with my diet, and, previously, weird diets I've tried led to fatigue, insomnia, cravings, etc. But, I think I've found the perfect diet, or, rather, the right conceptual distinctions. Research bears it out, though I don't have references on hand.

Have you ever tried the AIP diet? It's quite strict but led to me feeling the best I've subjectively felt in my entire life (I'm starting it again now...) Feels more socially unsustainable than anything-- tho really difficult to recover from if you stray IME (feels carb related)

(But this diet and jogging seems to be massively anti inflammatory. Before: hay fever and sunburn. After: neither [unless in the sun for like five unbroken hours])

the sunburn stuff is something i've noticed too after cutting out all seed oils / processed foods and adding more saturated fat to my diet, it's really neat

i *think* lipid peroxidation is one of the mechanisms of sunburn-induced cell death and polyunsaturated fatty acids are the least resistant to it while saturated fat is the most resistant to it
