idk it seems passive aggressive to me
at least, that’s how I feel when I use this tactic. prefer to meet people at their level of energy, albeit compassionately

if someone comes into your personal space and starts being belligerent at you
you have no obligation to accept their fight request
that's *their* proposal, not yours
you are welcome to laugh, or walk away, or chant in Latin
