it’s been wildly net positive so far. people keep assuming i’m reading the hate and trust me i am still not doing it. everyone who knows me has been super supportive and it’s been really sweet

my impression is that many people are perplexed why, if capitalism and inequality are so terrible, they don’t encounter rich people who are outright rotters so when they stumbled upon your unorthodox tweets, they were all too ready to misconstrue the sentiment

I started following you because I tutored one aspiring MATH phD student. He is only passionate about math and wanted to do phD in math, but that would cost his parents their retirement fund. I wonder how you'd advise him.

I really don’t understand the hate you’ve got for speaking up. You recognised and owned your privilege and I’d be interested to see what you do about it. My problems come from a lack of money so It’s interesting to see the opposite end of the spectrum. 🤷‍♀️
