How do you dispense salt? I know a lot of people who use tiny spoons and small bowls of salt when cooking, instead of shakers. Seems likely to make precision a lot easier, since after a couple tries you'll probably know how many spoonfulls.

The item is called a "salt pig" I think. Lots of cute ones on etsy, I'm sure plenty of them on amazon and whatnot. (deleted a tweet with a link to the etsy search result when I realized it looked like I was selling it)
