cant really get over the fact that some people with degrees started telling moms to put their babies in the other room and ignore them when they cry and multiple full nations of people were like “yeah that sounds legit”

have you read about the romanian orphans it's not fun
These are heartbreaking. I have a cousin from a Greek orphanage that got much of the same treatment, she was adopted at 2 and had multiple physical and intellectual disabilities that her Dr attributed to her laying in a crib for 22 hours a day.
