i've been thinking about this whole thread. it's really good. among other things it's part of why i don't feel very drawn to twitter rn, at least not reading tweets

Confusion comes from trying to understand something and failing. I reject that we have too many experiences; I reject the whole framing. Instead I ask, why think that we are owed understanding? The universe is a whirlwind, and we have no reason to expect it to be accessible.

Thrive in the chaos without succumbing to the siren promise of understanding. Accept that you will always understand very little, and do not fall into confusion by trying to force the issue.
