the doctor who tested me for sleep apnea said i had an "unusually large tongue" that was blocking my throat and apparently tongue exercises can help strengthen the tongue so it stays up at night more easily? i have no idea why no one told me this when i was looking earlier

i can't believe "tongue posture" is a thing jeez, poll time poll: where is your tongue resting most of the time when you're awake?
  • top of mouth toward teeth
    62.9%
  • top of mouth toward throa
    5.7%
  • in between top and bot
    10.9%
  • bottom of mouth
    20.6%

believe it or not, I think singing loudly (when alone in the car) has helped my (mild) sleep apnea. silicone nose plugs to keep nose open also helped. as did jaw massage/exercises. haven't tried tongue exercises yet
