we straight up used to type raw html into text fields and just expect websites to display it for us. incredible. that probably isn’t coming back ever

Go back into academia, make html in emacs, save it to ~[yourname]/public/index.html, done

haha it's been 3 years but my berkeley page is still up! i don't know if i can edit it anymore though

it's a long story and i never really got around to writing it up anywhere. short version is i was very depressed and also realized i just didn't care that much about doing math anymore
