obv not a utopian take but sometimes it is easier and better for your well-being to adjust your values than shift the structure of capitalism
not for everyone, but at least some people should probably put taking basic financial care of themselves ahead of being a moral paragon
My take: values exist but so does one's context, ie the arbitrary but undeniable context of whatever modern life one happens to lead. Question is how to live according to values in the context -- no shifting of values needed. Idealism tends to deny the reality of the context
