screenshots are an outrageously load-bearing part of modern internet infrastructure currently the best way to port posts between sites even though it makes their text unsearchable and doesn’t generate a link back to original this is dumb and we should be able to do better

every social media site should be able to QT content from every other social media site. the demonstrated demand for this feature is gigantic

hoping roam helps to solve this. maybe it'll inspire the web to be more roamy

Good idea, we should make it so posting public links from any social site should embed them like we do with Twitter already
