Getting out of bed happened pretty smoothly after I started just saying "I'm lying in bed. I'm lying in bed. I'm lying in bed." 🤔
I don't use this trick nearly often enough.

could you give a couple examples of some of the things you're saying in your narration for example?

i need to pee, i feel hungry, i want to shower, i haven’t showered today, it is 2:48pm, i am showering, i am wiping myself dry with a towel, i am thinking about my taxes, i am thinking about going for a walk to get food
