I agree with this 100% and it also explains NFTs etc to a degree that people seem uncomfortable to admit. People are purchasing talismans, or certificates of talismans — and those are powerful and worthwhile things to buy, actually, if you decide it is so

The most important story is the one you tell yourself about who you are and what it all means, this is a critical loadbearing pillar of the book I have spent ~3 years writing (and probably won’t make more than ~$30,000 from over the next year)
