also emoji reacts should be nestable; you should be able to emoji react to other emoji reacts and so on. no idea how you would display this but semantically it’s a move that should obviously exist imo

i dont feel like emoji reacts work as well on non-ephemeral things
when they're ephemeral it just becomes a communication method
when it's on a permanent object (a tweet) it becomes a status indicator
