in middle school i used to volunteer at the library with a girl i thought was cute and/but sometimes she smelled bad and i never knew how to talk about it. it was a very specific smell i have since smelled like ~10 other times, always on women

i really doubt it. it smells the same every time and is like... distinctly biological if that makes sense? in roughly the same category as fear sweat

Your hypothesis seems highly plausible. You'd have to be close to smell it though (or have a very sensitive sense of smell).
