i had nightmares all last night about DMing this - all my players got replaced with the Critical Role DM and cast - it was irl and we kept having to switch rooms in a giant house bc it was loud + people kept flooding in - i forgot EVERYTHING +

- the CR DM tried to take over and i had to talk over him - half my players left before i was able to start the game properly - someone else's family reunion showed up, along with approx. 12 kids who all wanted to play this 2-6-player game i still did ok, considering

the Goblin Quest booklet has character sheets that come with little goblin silhouettes you can fill in so i made a bunch of backups for my party (mostly mixing and matching options from the tables in the book)

ended up - writing some flavor text - making a quest - pre-rolling misfortunes. usually the quest-making is done in-game but i figure making players do minimal work the first time around is a good move (also a bit less up-front stress for me)
