the thing i find wild about google reader is that people still refer to RSS readers as "google reader alternatives" almost eight years after the product was discontinued. move on

honestly i think the focus on google reader continues to be justified. i legitimately think something important about the spirit of the internet died when google reader died and we haven't gotten it back

i mean yeah but if the spirit of something dies aren't you meant to go resurrect it? and honestly i'm skeptical of that idea, the internet feels so alive now there are so many cool people that its so easy to find its ridiculous. i wish this existed in 2012 honestly
