FYI a new round of the attachment theory and repair course is starting soon (3/30). hard for me to review my experience b/c i have a lot of difficulty with the ideal parent figure protocol (which is their main technique) but seems promising so far:

you might be interested in checking out the attachment repair course if:
- your relationships keep mysteriously blowing up
- you lowkey or highkey feel bad all the time
- you have ADHD symptoms
- therapy and/or meditation have not helped as much as you wanted them to

if you want to go deeper in the theory the course is based on a book called "attachment disturbances in adults" and it's a *real* good read so far, if a little dry and textbooky:

i should clarify that when i mention having difficulty with the protocol i consider this a good sign that it's hitting on important material; i don't mean it's useless, i mean it's terrifying and i'm still trying to deal with that 😅

not familiar with the course but george haas is cited often in this course, i think he's one of cedric (the teacher's) teachers so might be "closer to the source"!

I can't seem to figure out what day/time/timezone the course runs in? Seems like there's a live as well as video-based element?

the course is weekly zoom sessions which happen twice at two different times, which in the previous round were 9am PST and 4pm PST; they're also recorded so you can catch up later, so it's not a big deal if you can't make those times

Man I remember learning about ideal parent figure protocol, after 15 years of atheism (because god isn't real), Science is like, "just pretend you have a loving parent". Like, fuck. Christianity is still toxic but can't believe how long it took to get back to imaginary parents 😅
