went to high school with many hmong (st paul area) they were a little insular. but at one point some white guys were physically harassing them at lunch near my table one of the hmong guys got a roundhouse kick off and detached a white guy's nasal septum left an impression

wholesome, but also, totally different population than what most people think of when they think of east asian men i grew up in the math competition scene and there's a lot of big ol' east asian nerds there 😬 (including me!) han chinese mostly
