I first wanted to cut my hair short when I was a freshman in HS. My mom and I had one of our biggest fights over it; she was SCREAMING by the end of it.
She told me I couldn't cut my hair short because I 'had a nose' and if my hair was short, it would look too big.
Conversation
"I'm the one that would look ugly"
"But I would have to live with ugly, and I would have to look at ugly every day" was her response
So I offered to wear a paper bag over my head when I was with her. That's about when the screaming started.

Cutting my hair short, and shaving it later was an act of rebellion- not so much against her, but for me.

I think that girls in general tend to look much better with shaved heads than they think they will- there's an aura of confidence in self that comes with it that is almost always really sexy

I’ve shaved my head for similar reasons and had the same experience for sure, it looks great actually

omg I did the same thing except i’m indian so cutting off all my hair to a small bob was the best I could do hahahaha

Oh man don't tempt me I'm trying to grow mine out for once
I'll see if I can't find a photo from one of the times I've had it shaved (got locked out of my old Google account, so most of the photos from a huge chunk of my life are inaccessible 😂)
