We did two! First one is "trading phrases," so he plays a short phrase, I respond with a short phrase (whatever feels cool), and we iterate

Second one is a bit harder: he played a chord progression and I riffed on top of it

We did this all in E minor pentatonic in first position. Next level is being able to move it over the whole neck, and you can do this in a different scale/mode too
