feeling a little defensive here - can you be more clear about whether this is "I’m uncomfortable with the content and exploring why" or whether this is "critique"? for me these are two very different activities and equivocating between them feels bad to me

(the difference is that for me personally i don't "endorse" my discomforts until i've explored them pretty thoroughly - usually i assume they're pretty idiosyncratic to me and my hangups and i wouldn't call any of them "critiques" *ahead of time*)

tbc, i think critique is fine and i think exploring your discomforts is also fine, the equivocation is what has me feeling defensive

I didn’t endorse my discomfort - I was disoriented by it. Am I unclear sometimes? Sure. But I also don’t know how much more clear I can get than “I’m not mocking this person I’m talking about my own reaction” which i stated multiple times
