wow this looks really cool, and, speaking just about my own personal hangups, i would be very uncomfortable attempting to write a similar "date me" page for myself 😬 v v uncomfortable with describing myself, esp. as having positive qualities

Do you think that's part of what makes it hard to date, or orthogonal to it? Ie is this just the wrong strategy, or does that indicate something? (Super personal, feel free to ignore, I'm trying to use norms from your corner of Twitter that aren't my native ones, so may err)

it's like microcovid project for me(*) in that I did get to help friends have lives & date & stuff, but I *had to* put my epistemic reputation on the line to get it, had to be prepared to stand by it, tanstaafl (*) er sorry, everything gets compared against microcovid this year
