Since @Lithros @goblinodds and @michaelcurzi are talking about Three Kingdoms, I'd like to make a note to translate the Xiangsheng Guankou "Reckless One" very soon. Loose introduction: Xiangsheng or Crosstalk, is a traditional form of Chinese comedy mostly performed with 2 people

I cannot emphasise this enough: just as all kids are into dinosaurs and all Chinese kids are into Journey of the West, all Chinese boys are automagically into Romance of the Three Kingdoms. I was probably one of the least interested kids growing up

hmm i was into journey of the west but we read romance of the three kingdoms in middle school and i could not muster any real enthusiasm for it 😕

Me too, I suspect we were similar. Although Three Kingdoms is so omnipresent that it's impossible not to get more into it the older you get. It's the representative Chad Mythology I find
