there's a pic called "closer" or similar, depicting two people holding hands - one green with a streak of red in their eyes, the other (blue) only seeing their partner's green; they touch, their colors merge, and then red swirls through both as the latter tries to pull away

while I feel a bit bad about what it does to the first picture... someone *is* getting overwritten and destroyed in it after all is it love for who you are or for what you could be? when is the latter drawing out your potential, and when is it instilling something?

mostly true, but I kinda like myself this time and I'd like to keep some of it death implies complete cleansing and there are things (like a dead girl's memories) I'd rather not part with

"scrap it all and become what we like" doesn't leave a lot of room for personal preference, or more fundamental disagreements with "what we like" means
