I don't know if it's a class thing? it definitely has class markers, but I can think of better living room layouts within the same class!
I hate the aesthetic that's being aimed at here but even if I ignore that, there are much better ways to do this
-TV is off center between wall sconces
-pictures on the wall are touching the sconces
-too many Items crammed into one room; hard to navigate, hard to clean, hard to balance visually
yeah it's a class thing. Idea is that we are assuming someone is trying to appear wealthier and more worldly than they are by collecting high class signals but using them incorrectly (in wrong context with other symbols).
