You basically can't tell if someone is coercing themselves or not, apart from really subtle muscle tension that doesn't come across in text and stories, unless they get to the point where the strain from forcing overwhelms them and burns them out

1/ non-coercion is an internal stance: a possible way of doing activities, out of many. You can't tell from the outside (except by very subtle cues) whether someone is coercing themselves or not. As with all things in that category this makes it hard to describe and discuss.

Yeah, I agree. I more mean you can't see it from text or from on stage or when they're competing or whatever context we normally see/hear about successful people in.
