Was "this corner of twitter" a thing before the pandemic? I wasn't around then... what was it like
Will whatever is going on here now (e.g. as a "post-rat twitter" scene) disappear when we can all go socialize IRL normally again?

yes, there was already a scene here in april 2019 when i joined and it was why i joined. if nobody else, had already been doing his thing for years

Oh wow! A lot further back than I thought. But I wasn't that active on Twitter for much of 2015 & 2016, I believe. So it makes sense that I don't have memories of you til I got back active in 2017. Which was inspired by wanting to connect with @fortelabs, among other people.

also i forgot to say this but i have no intention of logging off after lockdown. if anything post-lockdown means we can start organizing irl twitter meetups again. i’m still mad we didn’t get to do the new york or london meetups 😤
