i started experiencing strong effects 5-10m after taking it last night, which is apparently too soon for it to have actually been absorbed, so now idk what's going on or why

sounds deeply unlikely, it takes way longer than that could be coincidence, or could be effects on digestion (magnesium oxide is primarily used as an *antacid* or laxative, AFAIK)

i just had a very nice poop so now i'm thinking about the laxative thing. apparently magnesium "relaxes your bowels and pulls water into your intestines" which seems like it could have interesting effects on a person such as myself who chronically holds tension in the gut 🤔

took a second 250mg magnesium oxide last night and mainly just had a nice poop, other effects less noticeable. harder to tell tho bc i also decided to mix in L-theanine
