Don't remember where I read it, but Magnesium Citrate is not easily absorbed by the body. Magnesium Glycinate or Magnesium Chloride is better.

i bought them otc so they’re not like prescription-only or anything but admittedly i have not consulted a doctor or nutritionist. the tablet is 250mg. i think bodies are pretty resilient to one-time doses of most things
