wildbow has talked about this a couple of times—if I remember right, he had a bad experience with one content producer, but does occasionally get offers every now and then, just not offers on a scale that he considers serious enough

the budget necessary to do it justice would be kind of nuts. Probably easier to do animated (which I think he’s also said he’d be open to but only if it was like exactly the right person doing it?)
