1. worm: long-ass intense superhero story, lots of interesting characters, lots of crazy escalations, the ending is outrageously cool imo

2. ' tim tebow CFL chronicles + 17776: best read as a pair and in that order, i think. incredibly unique stuff. i don't even know what to say about it and i want to minimize spoilers. just let them unfold

5. ZHPL's the gig economy: this is the spookiest thing i've ever read, b/c i didn't realize it was fiction until maybe a quarter of the way through and that had *unique effects* on me. just including it on this list is a spoiler, sadly

7. 's the northern caves: i get intensely nostalgic about the pitch-perfect fictional depiction of old-school internet forum culture alone. super interesting concept for a story even if it arguably doesn't quite stick the landing

11. 's google people: once again, its inclusion on this list is a spoiler, part of the experience is reading it thinking it's just a normal series of tweets

This is amazing. It took a long time to digest but worth every minute. Thank you.

it is impressive to me because it manages to like... be so of-the-moment? i really like fiction that takes the experience of being a denizen of the internet very seriously, several of the other entries in this list are like that too
