This is great. "Depletion" does seem problematic. Remember reading a study where the authors used the term "self-regulatory fatigue" instead because it reflects the fact that people can be motivated to override this effect, which is possible with fatigue but not depletion.

And so, other than managing inner conflicts, fatigue can also be managed through other fundamentals of stress management like sleep, nutrition, exercise, meditation etc. Like, just getting a nap when you're feeling tired can make a world of difference sometimes.
