I had a great #TwitterDayOff! Best one since the 1st one a few weeks ago. Did a lot of singletasking, which is my aim—particularly on those days. Fixed some complice.co bugs, wrote up some stuff including a thing that'll be a blog post in the next day or so. Others?

i think the part of twitter i find getting most in the way of other stuff is reading the TL - DMs are fine, checking notifications is mostly fine, i think tweeting is even fine. it’s the TL where i feel scrambled. might pivot to specifically taking a break from the TL

i feel the same. wish there was a way to hide the TL. none of the "fix twitter" browser plugins do it especially want this on mobile

I already don't check the TL many days, aided by having a userstyle that hides it (in addition to a couple userstyles I use to hide all of twitter sometimes). Notifications cause huge tab explosions for me, and sometimes so does clicking around to someone's timeline.
