a lotta like uh IDW types showed up which was very interesting but i gotta say i am so unused to their style of conversation. everyone holds very strong frame and i get very confused what if any meta-level conversational moves are available. hmm

feels to me like clubhouse could benefit from slightly more formal procedures for passing on the “hotseat.” right now the interruption dynamics strike me as too much like a normal irl group conversation, which privileges people who feel comfortable interrupting a lot

and i mean i can talk fine under those conditions but it makes me both dumber and more aggressive

talking to was a lot more fun. might stick to ingroup clubhouse stuff only from now on. hmm. hmmmmmm

i get the sense that this is pretty normal in like "masculine" or "competitive" spaces but i haven't had to actually deal with it in possibly literally years and it's just kinda jarring
