I WANT to see a history of SSC and its impact. But I want to see it written by someone like @sonyasupposedly Challenge for my friends who, like me, are skeptical of the NYT: encourage reliable writers or publish more yourself. People are dying to give these projects support.

I've considered this before. If you look at the costs biggest barrier is article length. So could write radically short tweet-like articles that the crowd pays to have author expand on. Differentiate through long term tracking and coverage of stories, like tech requires.
