me too. I think there's something inherently powerful about the meeting of two free and well adult minds that therapy, the well helper vs the sick patient, works against

perhaps especially in this huge grey area middle section of client/patients who have some stuff to deal with but are not like falling apart unwell, who could show up to therapy and be received or coaching too.

this dynamic is part of why I have found it possible to sometimes give advice, i.e. light suggestions, what if you tried x? it's not appropriate to do that to someone weak but like... we're 2 adults, I can make my client do anything at all
