it just offered me a much more expansive systems view of causality vs like "my ability to be happy is located in the execution of this action " which had the impact of slowing things down? providing a gap between impulse and action? i can't think of anything specific!

but it does truly, in my experience, lead to less suffering, because of how much suffering is caused by being confused about the causes of my happiness, my suffering, etc.
