switched to a KN95 in the last week but apparently N95s are held to higher standards, switched to a spare N95 i had lying around after that

My understanding is that variation in manufacturing (i.e. whether you get a "real" mask or not) is much greater than any spec difference.

And that the 94 vs 95 on the labels is pretty trivial compared to other factors like fit.
