in particular a long chain of events led to a spontaneous call with about two ideas we're tentatively calling "omnitext" and "tuning," which are so dense that roam is the only good way to represent them and i can't fit them into tweets yet

(there was more to our chat, that I also want to post, but for now @QiaochuYuan and I have followed a momentum-wave and are spontaneously hopping on a zoom call to co-watch Doug Engelbart's Mother of All Demos)

also, spontaneous calls are fuckin great wow. really getting tired of scheduling calls in advance with fixed groups of people in comparison tbh. i want spontaneous rooms people can drop into and out of like a living room

Big on the ‘compression’ of knowledge (retrieval, and generation as well) so I definitely love roam. Haven’t thought so much about ‘tuning’ but that seems like a great thing to explore considering what a large impact context and emotion have on work/ideas.
