Aaaa, this is great! Felt inadequate with my 1st carrying her all the time close to my body. Thought I didn't know how else to care for baby so she doesn't cry Then heard crying is not not desirable. Wat😭 How about "Eliciting delight from babies as desired social norm"

I'm sure you've got someone talking about this, but skin-on-skin contact right after birth is huge. For my 2nd and 3rd kid, b/c it was a C-section, they had me take off my shirt in the delivery room so I could hold them against my chest immediately after delivery
