what's the difference between a trained teacher and a parent who learns how to teach so they can homeschool their kids?

the difference is that when you’ve been Trained and something goes wrong you can blame the training, but when you Haven’t Been Trained and something goes wrong you can only blame yourself

as someone who was homeschooled this was the case most of the time yes

damn this was just a guess i pulled out of my ass lol
idk maybe it's because i came from a third world country where teachers aren't being paid properly but most of the time my parents are better teachers than actual teachers.
the only leg up real teachers have is probably that they know the textbook more
