what's the difference between a trained teacher and a parent who learns how to teach so they can homeschool their kids?

the difference is that when youâve been Trained and something goes wrong you can blame the training, but when you Havenât Been Trained and something goes wrong you can only blame yourself
as someone who was homeschooled this was the case most of the time yes

Socialization, is the short answer. The difference between the autodidact and the Ph.D. It's not about content or skills, it's about those and the context in which they're practiced and why. Teachers are socialized to produce certain outcomes, typically bourgeois, per the school
