if I imagine anyone else having the absurd growth trajectory you've had, I imagine them headed for burnout due to forgetting to enjoy life 😬

this is one of my fav QC threads
I took a Parenting course in uni which traced the "what we really want is hedonism" meme to Calvinists/Puritans (at least in the West) & I resent that frame so much
to reduce the passionate nature of humanity to baseness is species-level slander

v much looking forward to having babies & seeing them as passionate & (age-appropriately) capable instead of inherently in-need-of-harsh-reform-by-adult-forces & unschooling them & giving them the space to accomplish awesome things at every age *like we are all born to do*
