been processing the fact that, more than achieving X, I want to be appreciated by smart/thoughtful/observant people for the work that I put into achieving X. The achievements are kinda secondary (though, of course, only after the fact)

So in this analogy I want to be appreciated for the work I put into becoming fuckable, more than I want to be appreciated *as* fuckable. I’m not sure if this is a common trait

lol this is like the people i ran into at cambridge who wanted to seem like they put in no effort whatsoever academically and spent all their time drinking hmm
