looking to crowdsource responses, RTs appreciated: what sorts of activities feel like “rest” or “relaxation” to you? how can you tell? what do “rest” and “relaxation” feel like to you? physically? emotionally?

“rest” is the combination “I am not doing anything right now that is stressful” + “I am not expected to be doing anything right now not under my complete control”

latter bit is confusing—it’s important that I not feel like someone else is expecting me to do something, but I be doing something that I want to be doing

the mental algorithm feels something like: querying the list of things that I want to be doing, and testing each of them for how much friction I would need to overcome to start doing the thing. Sometimes (but not always) one option is a clear free action
