+1 to one TL with knobs. can also create custom configs to revisit at various times

yes! agh the more i think about this the more i want it, i do a lot of my thinking on twitter and it would work a lot better if i could tune it (among other things i could follow more people)

another crackpot-y idea i had that feels adjacent to this is something that let you navigate Twitter by virtual neighborhoods or scenes

like unfortunately one of the main things you can do with a twitter network identifier is use it to more easily figure out who is e.g. following Bad People

what we are talking about seems like such a power user tool, vs much easier ways to check "does this person follow anyone on this list"
also twitter neighborhoods would be defined by symmetrical interaction not just following right?

my version of this lets me go down rabbit holes faster. roughly "here are clusters of tweets you recently liked. click on a cluster to make it your timeline" then be able to expand/contract by topic, network, sort by relevance vs time...

UX requires coming up with good metaphors which is hard work! or so i gather anyway
