weird and fun thing about focusing on money as a topic is that itās engaging enough that most of my normal distractions feel boring by comparison - donāt wanna read tvtropes, donāt wanna read stackexchange, all that stuff feels like scattering my train of thought now

sadly also applies to half of my twitter TL - every tweet i read that isnāt about money feels like itās also scattering my train of thought. like twitter is extra ADHD š
dream feature would be a way to temporarily filter out like 90% of non-money tweets š¤

anyone know if thereās a chrome extension that can do something like that? filter the twitter TL by topic? (by *mood*???) if not, anyone up for making it? ?
iām imagining the interface as like an equalizer but for topics / moods. āfocusing the second brainā

okay hmm one of the several things i also want now is a clearer sense of what the marketable skills of various twitter peeps are, this is not something i have a clear sense of rn and it means i donāt know who to tag in what (yet!)

the best i've done is use lists + tweetdeck. it depends on people 'staying in their lane', which i'm not exactly a fan of:

I guess you can also do a column by search term? not as sophisticated as what you ask for though...

if we assume one timeline (no tweetdeck) you can filter and you can sort, binary / continuous... what would be the right interface for those? "has the word(s)..." is the obvious filter condition but has clear drawbacks...

sort by (some linear combo of): time, sentiment, most like example1 least like example2, distance to me in interaction network...

uhhh @QiaochuYuan I think you want a search full of ORs, then sort by Latest
here's "tweets from my followers that mention one of the following words: money cashflow finance gme runway business"
adjust spices to taste
twitter.com/search?q=money
